Exploring your Unique Spiritual Journey Yoga, Acupuncture, and Meditation With James Powers, LAC
We are delighted to have ASP member James Powers, NY State licensed acupuncturist, Chinese herbalist, and yoga/meditation teacher, lead us on a journey of exploration of our personal spiritual landscapes via dialogue and experiential exercises. James will provide attendees the opportunity to utilize gentle yoga methods, including breathing exercises, in addition to ear acupuncture, and meditation to dive deep within to connect with their inner spiritual wisdom to shed light on their personal spiritual journey.
All activities are optional, gentle, and do not require any special equipment or clothing. No prior experience in yoga or meditation is necessary.
The meeting will begin with a general discussion and sharing of our spiritual journeys including an examination of the destination of the spiritual unfolding process. We will also create our own creative, visual diagrammatic diary of our spiritual journey and the hindrances we have encountered on the journey. The next phase of the meeting will be experiential by utilizing very simple yoga movements/ breathing techniques, as well as ear acupuncture, and meditation to connect with our deepest wisdom to gain insight into our personal journeys and possible solutions to vexing obstacles in our spiritual progression. Finally, in the last portion of the meeting, we will share our collective experiences and insights to shed light and clarity on our unique spiritual journeys.
